Plan outlets around real use
Start by listing the equipment used in each area rather than simply doubling the number of existing outlets. Bedside charging, home offices, entertainment units, kitchen appliances and outdoor equipment all have different placement and load considerations.
A well-positioned outlet can reduce extension-lead and power-board use, but adding outlets is not a substitute for checking the capacity and condition of the supplying circuit.
When a dedicated circuit may be considered
Some fixed or higher-load equipment may require its own circuit or a specific connection arrangement. The appliance rating, manufacturer instructions, existing switchboard and cable route all matter. Provide the exact model before the quote whenever possible.

Outdoor outlets need a suitable location, weather protection and appropriate equipment. An outlet should not be placed where cords create a new trip or water-exposure problem.
